South African Survey specialist Geosense Ltd has been acquired by Getmapping. Geosense has built up a reputation for delivering professional aerial survey, image and map processing services to the UK and African markets.

Tristram Cary, will remain as Chairman of the Group, focusing on strategic business development. Dave Horner, Martin Tocher and Matt Murphy of Geosense have joined the Getmapping board of Directors, with Dave Horner becoming the new Managing Director,
